Midview Boys Soccer draws with Berea-Midpark

Midview Varsity Boys Soccer earned a 1-1 draw at Southwestern Conference foe Berea-Midpark High School on Wednesday (September 3) evening.

The Titans took a 1-0 advantage just three and a half minutes into the game. The score remained the same for 40 minutes, until Middie senior Anthony Loera drilled a ball over the keeper, off the cross bar and across the goal line for the equalizer with 36:29 to play in the game. Midview senior Lucas Matesic preserved the tie by blocking a penalty kick in the final few minutes.

Midview (1-3-1, 0-1-1 SWC) visits Rocky River High School on Saturday (September 6) at 7 p.m.
