Midview Boys Soccer falls to North Olmsted 2-1

Midview Varsity Boys Soccer opened its 2025 campaign with a 2-1 loss to visiting North Olmsted High School Saturday (August 16) evening at Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium.

The Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 advantage after the first 40 minutes. Senior Anthony Loera got the Middies on the board when he followed up a shot with one of his own into the back of the net with 15:07 left to play. Midview quickly had a chance to level the match with a nice combination between sophomore Andrew Morris and senior Kaiden Vonya. A North Olmsted defender, however, erased the ball off the end line to preserve its one-goal advantage. Midview would get no closer down the stretch.

The Middies (0-1) are back in action against host Lakewood High School on Monday (August 18) at Harding Middle School. JV begins at 5 p.m. Varsity will follow at 7 pm.
