Varsity Boys Soccer opens new Ross Field with 2-0 loss to Brunswick

Midview Boys Soccer hosted Brunswick High School in the first regular season games on the newly renovated Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium Friday (August 16) evening. The Blue Devils spoiled the occassion with two first half goals en route to the 2-0 victory. The game was called with 2:48 left due to lightning in the area.

Midview High School Math Teacher Ben Kendrick will be the answer to the trivia question "Who won the first game on the new turf?" as he led the Brunswick JV team to a 6-0 win over Midview earlier in the evening.

The Middies (0-1) will look to regroup and visit North Olmsted High School Wednesday (August 21). JV starts at 5 p.m. and Varsity at 7 p.m.
