Midview Boys Golf defeats Firelands

Midview Varsity Boys Golf earned a 144-169 victory over visiting Firelands High School Wendesday (August 13) morning at Brentwood Golf Course.

The Middies came one shot shy of tying the school record for best nine-hole team score.

Senior Jonathan Klooz led the way with a one-under-par 34, while senior Wyatt Frank shot an even 35. Junior Lucas Hendershot followed with a 37, while senior Samuel McCulley added a 38 in the win. Senior Patrick Dolin (39) and freshmen Kellen Sykuta (42) also had solid rounds for Midview.

The Middies play host to Keystone High School on Monday (August 18) at 9 a.m.
