Midview Boys Basketball routs North Olmsted

Midview Varsity Boys Basetball picked up a 64-38 victory over host North Olmsted High School on day one of the inaugural Tim Schmotzer Holiday Basketball Tournament Monday (December 29) afternoon.

Junior Luke Jockel paced his squad with 24 points, while senior Xavier Young added 11 and juniors Caleb Kennedy and Xavier Padilla both contributed 7 in the win.

The Middies (2-6) advance to play Garrett Morgan High School in the championship on Tuesday (December 30) at 3:30 p.m. The Falcons knocked off Vermilion High School 98-85 in double overtime in the other semifinal game.
