Boys Basketball ends season with loss to Hoban

Midview Varsity Boys Basketball closed out its 2025 season with a 69-53 loss at No. 2 seed Archbishop Hoban High School in an OHSAA Division III Sectional Final Saturday (February 22) evening.

Sophomore Luke Jockel paced his team with 18 points in the loss. He connected on 5 three-pointers to improve his school record to 76 on the season. Senior Brayden Newton finished with 13 points, while senior Tyler Davis and junior Xavier Young both had 5 points.

The No. 52 seed Middies (3-20) went toe-to-toe with the Knights for three quarter before ultimately running out of gas.
