Midview Shoots Past Oberlin 74-56
Midview Varsity Boys Basketball was fueld by a school-record performance to earn a 74-56 road victory at Oberlin High School Tuesday (December 4) evening.
Sophomore Luke Jockel poured in a career-best 32 points by way of a school-record 10 three-point field goals. His performance broke the previous record of 9 set by Jacob Wells against Olmsted Falls in 2015-16.
Senior Brayden Newton added career-high 22 points and 14 rebounds, while his sophomore brother Brennen Newton added 10 assists in the win.
The Middies (1-1) return home to face Garrett Morgan High School on Saturday (December 7). Action begins with the freshmen against Bay High School at 4:30 p.m.
