Midview Gymnastics competes at SWC Championship

Midview Varsity Gymnastics competed against its Southwestern Conference competition at the 2026 SWC Championship, which took place at the Summit County Fairgrounds on Saturday (February 7) night.

The Middies three-woman team did not qualify for the team standings, which was won for a sixth straight year by Berea-Midpark High School.

Senior Kayleen Medina finished with a 7.3 on Vault, 5.6 on Bars, 7.1 on Beam and 6.6 on Floor to total 26.6 points and place 21st in the All-Around. Junior Maya Nimer earned 7.35 on Vault, 5.3 on Bars and 6.5 on Floor to earn 19.15 points. Sophomore Sophia Onderko scored 7.05 on Vault, 5.5 on Bards and 6.5 on Beam to total 19.05 points.

Midview will compete at the OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament at Hudson High School on February 22.
