Midview Gymnastics hosts home meet

Midview Varsity Gymnastics hosted five other schools for its Senior Day competition Saturday (January 31) at Ten Point O Gymnastics.

Senior Kayleen Medina placed 10th in the All-Around with 25.95 points after taking 9th in Vault (7.7), 11th on Bars (5.1), 11th on Beam (6.2) and 7th on Floor (6.95).

Junior Maya Nimer finished 12th overall as she was 6th in Vault (7.8), 8th on Bars (5.5) and 9th on Beam (6.45) to compile 19.75 points.

Sophomore Sophia Onderko took 13th with 18.9 points. She was 13th on Vault (6.9), 12th on Bars (5.0) and sixth on Beam (7.0).

The Middies are back in action at the Southwestern Conference Championship Saturday (February 7) at the Summit County Fairgrounds. Action begins at 6 p.m.
