Midview Gymnastics competes at Avon Lake Meet

Midview Varsity Gymnastics took the mat for the second time this season when it competed at the seven-team Avon Lake Meet on Sunday (January 18) at Great Lakes Gymnastics.

Senior Kayleen Medina finished 10th in the All-Around with a combined score of 26.75. She posted the eighth best score on Vault (7.8) and Bars (6.4) while adding a 6.2 on Beam and 6.35 on Floor.

Sophomore Sophia Onderko competed in three events. She scored 6.7 on Vault, 5.2 on Bars and 6.5 on Beam. Junior Maya Nimer added a 7.55 on Vault and 6.0 on Bars at the event.

The Middies return to action on January 27 when they compete at the Lakewood Meet inside Horace Mann Elementary.
