Midview Gymnastics opens season at Wooster Invitational

Midview Varsity Gymnastics opened its season at the General Invitational, hosted by Wooster High School Monday (December 29) afternoon.

Senior Kayleen Medina finished 21st in the All-Around with 26.25 points. She tied for 26th in Vault (7.50), 21st on Bars (5.50) and 23rd on Beam (7.10). She also finished 30th on Floor (6.25).

Junior Maya Nimer took 32nd in the All-Around (19.70) after placing in a tie for 26th in Vault (7.50) and 18th on Bars (5.80) while also finishing 27th on Floor (6.40).

Sophomore Sophia Onderko was 35th in the All-Around (18.75). She was 37th in the Vault (6.90), tied for 21st on Bars (5.50) and placed 28th on Beam.

The Middies are back in action at the Avon Lake Meet on January 18.
