Gymnastics competes at Ten Point O Meet
Midview Gymnastics combined with other members of Ten Point O Meet Gymnastics to host a home meet on Friday (January 10) evening. Three full teams and five sets of individuals participated in the event, which was won by Avon High School.
Junior Kayleen Medina finished 11th in the All-Around with a score of 26.85 after placing 13th on Vault (6.9), 12th on Beam (7.5), 11th on Floor (7.3) and 15th on Bars (5.15).
Sophomore Maya Nimer took 24th overall by way of a 14th place finish on Vault (6.85), 21st place finish on Floor (6.1) and 14th place finish on Bars (5.4).
Freshmen Sophia Onderko placed 25th in the All-Around after taking 17th on Vault (6.4), 19th on Beam (6.7) and 17th on Bars (5.0).
The Middies are back to competition on Sunday (January 19) with the rescheduled Avon Lake competition at Great Lakes Gymnastics.
