Middies end competition season at UCA Nationals

Midview High School's competition cheerleading squad had its 2025-26 season come to end after a pair of semifinal performances at the 2026 UCA National High School Division II Championships Saturday (January 31) at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida. 

The Middies began the day with a 13th place finish in Game Day after compiling 81.4 points. They finished just 0.9 off the 11th and final qualifying spot in the Varsity Non-Buidling Game Day division. Midview took the mat a few hours later in the Varsity Non-Building traditonal competition. There, the Middies placed 11th with a score of 71.65. Only the top six advanced to the finals on Sunday.
