Midview Game Day Finishes 4th and Traditional 7th at UCA Nationals

Midview High School earned a fourth place finish in the Varsity Division II Non Building Game Day division at the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) National High School Cheerleading Championship Monday (February 10) at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The Middies, whose best Game Day finish was third place in 2020, earned the sixth qualifying spot in the finals with their 88.8 point semifinal performance. Midview then improved two places in the finals with a routine that earned 89.7 points. Austin High School out of Alambama was crowned the champions, while Barnesville High School (Ohio) finished runner-up.

The Middies' Traditional squad took seventh place in the Division II Non Building event. They were two spots shy of making the finals in that category this season.

2025 was the ninth straight season that Midview's Traditional Competition squad earned a trip to Disney World. The Game Day squad also competed for the seventh consecutive year.

This competiton marked the final high school competition for seniors Allison Case, Molly Cleis, Abby Dobbins, Natalie Hamilton, Hailey Lopez, Kendra Mentzer and Ella Vonya. We thank them for their dedication and efforts in keeping Midview Cheerleading as a national caliber program!
