Midview Traditional wins while Game Day places third at OAC Championship

Midview Competition Cheerleading earned a pair of medals at the 2024 Ohio Athletic Committee (OAC) Cheerleading Championship, which took place Sunday (January 12) on the campus of Marysville High School.

The Middies Tradition squad on the Large Non-Building Division with a score of 85.8 points. Hilliard Bradley High School placed second with 86.15 points, while Amherst Steele High School was third with 85.35 points.

The placements were reversed in the Large Non-Building Game Day Division as Amherst won wih 98.4 points, Hillard Bradley finished runner-up with 92.9 points and Midview was third with 92.1 points.

The Middies' next competition is the OHSCCA Best in the State for Traditional. This takes place January 26 at Hilliard Darby High School and is the final tune-up for UCA Nationals in February.
