Girls Bowling places runner-up at SWC Tournament

Midview Varsity Girls Bowling earned a runner-up finish at the 2025 Southwestern Conference Tournament Sunday (February 9) at Spevock's Nautical Lanes.

Midview complied 2189 pins through the three regular games to hold a narrow early advantage over North Ridgeville High School. The Rangers, however, outscored the Middies by 82 pins over the six Baker games to earn the title with 3052 pins. Midview finished with 2999 pins, while Berea-Midpark High School had 2962 pins and took third.

Sophomore Ariana Fedyszyn captured Individual Medalist honors with a 533 three-game series (185-158-190), while her junior teammate Aubree Marchant took runner-up with a 520 series (133-193-194) among the 42 individual participants.

Midview is back in action at the OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament, which takes place Sunday (February 16) at Rebman Lanes. Bowling begins at 9 a.m.
