Girls Bowling wins 2025 North Shore Bowling Conference Tournament

Midview Varsity Girls Bowling captured the 2025 North Shore Bowling Conference Tournament Division I Championship Saturday (February 1) afternoon at Rebman Lanes.

The Middies, who won their third ever NSBC Tournament title, compiled 3453 pins under the guidance of Head Coach Jerry Marchant and Program Director/Head Boys Coach Joe Harrison. Midview also won the league tournament in 2017-18 and 2018-19 to go along with a NSBC regular season championship in 2019-20.

Midview posted scores of 798, 818 and 873 (2489 series) over the three traditional games. Sophomore Ariana Fedyszyn rolled a 552 series (148-180-224) to take home Individual Medalist honors. Senior Aubree Marchant took eighth with a 518 series (188-169-161), while junior Madison Gaspar placed ninth with a 514 series (180-184-150). Also contributing to the win were freshman Mady Schafrath with a 459 series (157-153-149) and senior Hannah Brady with a 446 series (125-152-189). The Middies cemented their victory with a 964 total in the six Baker Games (158, 161, 158, 228, 132 and 127).

The Middies close out the regular season with a marquee match-up against rival Amherst Steele High School Wednesday (February 5) at AMF Lanes. Both schools are 5-1 in Southwestern Conference play and one match back of first place North Ridgeville High School.
