Girls Bowling finishes runner-up at Royalton Roll-Off

Midview Varsity Girls Bowling finished runner-up at the third annual North Royalton Roll-Off, which took place Sunday (January 12) at Yorktown Lanes.

The Middies sat in fourth place after the three traditional games with 2147 pins. Senior Aubree Marchant rolled a team-best 484 series (174-143-167), sophomore Ariana Fedyszyn added a 479 series (193-140-146) and junior Madison Gaspar contributed a 443 series (134-140-169).

Midview then climbed of the standings with Baker games of 120, 148, 147, 153 and 170 for a total score of 2885.

Magnificat High School was the overall champion with 3247, while Padua Franciscan High School placed third with 2860 points at the 15-team event.

The Middies return to North Shore Bowling and Southwestern Conference play with a trip to Nautical Lanes to face Avon Lake High School on Monday (January 13) at 4 p.m.
