Boys Bowling Ends Season with 6th Place Finish at OHSAA Sectional Tournament
Midview Varsity Boys Bowling concluded its season with a sixth place finish at the 2025 OHSAA Western Cuyahoga County/Lorain County Sectional Tournament Sunday (February 16) at Rebman Lanes.
The Middies racked up 3950 pins over the three traditional games (905-839-1006) to sit in eighth place. They then climbed up two positions in the standings with Baker games of 243, 181, 178, 210, 206 and 182 but finished 96 pins back of the fourth and final qualifying spot for the OHSAA District Tournament.
Junior Aiden Salkiewicz, a 2024 OHSAA Championship qualifier, finished 16th in the individual standings with a 596 series (224-180-192). He was just 24 pins away from the final individual qualifier. Senior Zachary Sprague
capped off his interscholastic career with a 571 series (180-208-183) and placed 26th. Freshman Noah Brady was the only other Middie to bowl all three games and followed in 31st with a 561 series (198-146-217).
