Salkiewicz Advances to the OHSAA State Boys Bowling Tournament; Midview Boys Finish 14th at Districts

Midview Bowling's historic postseason continued Sunday (February 25) afternoon when sophomore Aiden Salkiewicz qualified for the 2024 OHSAA Boys State Tournament. Salkiewicz, who finished with a 687 three-game series, secured the second of six qualifying spot for the March 8 event at HP Lanes in Columbus. In doing so, he became the first Midview Bowling (boy or girl) to ever qualify for the State Tournament. Salkiewicz's series was the third best of the day. [Complete Results]

The Middies' Boys Bowling team was competing as a team in their first-ever OHSAA District Tournament at Rebman Recreation Sunday. Midview finished 14th at the event. Senior Alex Fedyszyn finished 21st overall with a 627 series and just 23 pins away from joining his teammate.
