Bio
Lisa Krasienko was not just a girl who played sports at Midview; she was an athlete who excelled on numerous winning teams as a Lady Middie. In recognition of that all-around athletic ability, Lisa earns her place in the Midview Athletic Hall of Fame.
As a 9th grader Krasienko began to make her mark at Midview. She played a critical role on a Midview softball team that went 15-8, including an 11-3 mark in the Lorain County Conference. As only a freshman, Lisa earned the teams’ Best Defensive Player Award and the Coach’s Award. She was also both Honorable Mention All-Conference and All-County. In her sophomore year, Krasienko took to the hardwood, logging minutes on the varsity basketball team that went 17-5 and captured the Lorain County Conference championship. Lisa returned to the softball diamond that spring, and had a tremendous campaign. She was named team MVP and was 2nd team All-Conference and All-County. In her junior year, Krasienko was part of a tremendous Lady Middie volleyball team that roared to a 23-1 record, while winning Conference and Sectional championships. Returning to the basketball floor that winter, Lisa averaged just under nine points per game on another team that won a conference and sectional championship, while compiling an 18-4 mark. She was an Honorable Mention Player in the league and Lorain County. Her exploits continued in softball that spring, as she was team MVP for the second straight year, and also repeated her sophomore season as a 2nd team All-Conference and All-County selection. As a senior, Krasienko again played volleyball, and then fashioned a great basketball season, leading the Lady Middies to a 16-6 mark and a sectional championship. Lisa scored just below 12 points per game, and was the team MVP. Postseason awards included 1st team All-Conference and All-County, 2nd team All-District, and Honorable Mention All-State. Her softball senior season earned her another team MVP award and 1st team All-Conference and All-County. By the time she graduated, Lisa had earned nine varsity letters.
After her time at Midview, Krasienko has competed in two triathlons, run 8 half marathons, and 4 full marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2017, where she finished in 4:11:21 with an avulsion fracture in her hamstring.
