Midview Celebrates its Senior Student-Athletes Moving on to the Collegiate Level
Midview Athletics celebrated its 10 senior student-athletes who intend to compete at the collegiate level in 2025-26 during a ceremony inside Kubuski Gym on Wednesday (April 23) morning.
Twelfth-year Athletics Director Dan May introduced the participants and gave them some media relations practice by asking each one a question in front of a packed audience. The questions ranged from what was your favorite memory of sports in high school to what the recruiting process was like or what advice do you have for your younger teammates who have a desire to play college sports.
"As a former Sports Information Director at Marietta College, I know first-hand the learning curve many collegiate athletes have while talking to their local or even national media," said May. "My job as SID was to make them as comfortable as possible and guide them along the way. We are fortunate to have great media coverage here in Lorain County so many of our kids have been through that experience. However, I hope today's exercise was a good reminder to them on the value of being able to talk about yourself confidently in front of a crowd."
Midview would like to congratulate the following seniors and wish them the best of luck as their further their academic and athletic careers!
