Unified Sports Opens Basketball Season at Elyria on January 26

Midview's inaugural Unified Sports Team will return to action for a fun-filled day of Basketball on January 26 at Elyria High School. The Middies, who opened their inaugural season with a series of flag football games and then soccer games, will participate in four games against local opponents.

Midview opens against North Ridgeville High School at 10:25 a.m. The Middies then play Elyria High School at 10:50 a.m., Berea-Midpark High School at 11:15 a.m. and then North Olmsted High School at 11:40 a.m.

Each game feature a 20-minute running clock. Teams are made up of 15 players and games will be 5 v 5. During the duration of the game the number of athletes have to be more than the number of partners on the field.

Midview will also compete in Basketball at Berea-Midpark on February 13 and then at North Ridgeville on March 7. They will then close out the year with Kickball in the spring.
