Unified Sports Returns to Action in Soccer November 9

Midview's newly-established Unified Sports Team will return to action for a fun-filled day of Soccer on November 9 at Force Sports in Rocky River. The Middies, who opened their inaugural season with a series of flag football games, will participate in four games against local opponents.

Midview, who will compete on Field 3, opens against Amherst Steele High School at 10 a.m. The Middies then play Stow High School 2 at 10:20 a.m., Strongsville High School at 11 a.m. and then Stow 2 again at 11:20 a.m.

Each game feature a 15 minute running clock. Teams are made up of 12 players and games will be 5 v 5 with a goalkeeper. During the duration of the game both a partner and athlete have to play goalie. The number of athletes have to be more than the number of partners on the field. No Overtime- Games can end in tie. No offsides. When the ball goes out of bounds it can be either thrown in or kicked in. Games will begin with a coin flip or rock/paper/scissors.

Later this year Midview will also compete in Basketball as well as Kickball.
